LIVING WATERS
INTRODUCTION
“7-13. Spiritual Restoration Coming. – The work of which the prophet Zechariah writes is a type of the spiritual restoration to be wrought for Israel BEFORE THE END OF TIME (Zech. 8:9, 11-13, 7, 8 quoted) (Letter 42, 1912).” – S.D.A. Bible Commentary, Vol. 7-A, p. 190.
“Oil Conveyed Through Messages. – (Zech. 4:1-3, 11-14 quoted.) By the holy beings surrounding His throne, the Lord keeps up a constant communication with the inhabitants of the earth. The golden oil represents the grace with which God keeps the lamps of believers supplied. Were it not that this holy oil is poured from heaven in the MESSAGES OF GOD’S SPIRIT, the agencies of evil would have entire CONTROL OVER MEN. God is dishonored when we do not receive the communications that He sends us. Thus we refuse the golden oil which He would pour into our souls to be communicated to those in darkness (RH Feb. 3, 1903.)
"Word Flows Into Messengers' Hearts. - (Zech. 4:11-14 quoted.) THESE EMPTY THEMSELVES INTO THE GOLDEN BOWLS, which represent the hearts of the LIVING MESSENGERS OF GOD, who bear the WORD OF THE LORD to THE PEOPLE IN WARNINGS AND ENTREATIES. The Word Itself must be as represented, the
golden oil, emptied from the two olive trees that stand by the Lord of the whole earth. THIS IS THE BAPTISM BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH FIRE. This will open the soul of unbelievers to conviction. The wants of the soul can be met only by the working of the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD. Man can of himself do nothing to satisfy the longings and meet the aspirations of the heart (MS 109, 1897).

“Two Birds — One Dipped in Blood. — The wonderful symbol of the LIVING bird dipped in the blood of the BIRD SLAIN and then set free to its joyous life, IS TO US THE SYMBOL OF THE ATONEMENT. There were death and life blended, presenting to the searcher for truth the HIDDENtreasure the UNION of the PARDONING BLOOD with the resurrection (1 Pet. 3:18) and

LIFE (The Holy Spirit gave Jesus this life) of our Redeemer. The BIRD SLAIN was over LIVING WATER; that FLOWING STREAM was a symbol of the EVER FLOWING, EVER CLEANSING EFFICACY OF THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, the FOUNTAIN THAT WAS OPEN FOR JUDAH AND JERUSALEM, wherein they may WASH and BE CLEAN FROM EVERY STAIN OF SIN. We are to have free access to the atoning blood of Christ. This we must regard as the MOST PRECIOUS PRIVILEGE, the greatest blessing, ever granted to sinful man. And how little is made of this great gift! How deep, HOW WIDE AND CONTINUOUS IS THIS STREAM! TO EVERY SOUL THIRSTING AFTER HOLINESS THERE IS REPOSE, THERE IS REST, THERE IS THE QUICKENING INFLUENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND THEN THE HOLY, HAPPY, PEACEFUL WALK AND PRECIOUS COMMUNION WITH CHRIST. The above reference is showing the close relation between the blood of Christ (a Dove), the second Person of the Godhead, with the quickening power of the Holy Spirit (a Dove), the third Person of the Godhead, our TWO INTERCESSORS (Rom. 8:26 and 8:34) It was the power of the Holy Spirit that raised Christ (1 Pet. 3:18); so, it is the Holy Spirit that transforms us unto life eternal, who are dead in trespasses and sins, through the blood of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
John the Baptist speaks: “You men of Israel; you know your sins. As I passed by I saw a wounded bird prone in your streets, and men of every class were beating it with clubs; and then I saw that JUSTICE was its name. And I looked AGAIN and saw that ITS COMPANION had been killed; the pure white wings of Righteousness were trampled in the dust.” – The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ, Section XIII, The Ministry of John the Harbinger, Chapter 62:8, 9.
“I saw the very men that cheered because I told the PRIEST AND SCRIBES (leaders) of their injustice unto man, throw stones and beat poor JUSTICE in the streets. I saw them trample on the POOR DEAD BIRD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; And you who follow after me, you COMMONERS (laity), are not one whit behind the scribes and priests in crime. Reform, you men of Israel; the king has come; prepare to meet your king.” – Ibid., Chapter 62:20-23.
We are to know that, as Christ, Who came in the flesh, gained every

victory through the third Person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit; so are we to experience the same in the TIMES of the restitution of all things. His life was a demonstration of the coming of the Holy Spirit in the flesh (His flesh). He came in the flesh and received the indwelling of the Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead.

“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of ANTICHRIST, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:2, 3.
“If any man see his brother sin a sin which is NOT unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him LIFE for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.” 1 John 5:16.
“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” 1 John 5:18.
“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and ETERNAL LIFE.” 1 John 5:20.
WE SHALL BE THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST IF WE DO NOT CONFESS BY OUR LIVES THAT JESUS IS COME IN THE FLESH (OUR FLESH) THROUGH THE INDWELLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

MOURNING DOVES
Descriptive Information – McLennan County Library
Great velocity in flight - migratory. Great power of vision to see hundreds of acres at once. Body elongated - oval - circle Can disappear in a moment, because of speed in flight. When attacked, they bunch together for protection. Have powerful muscles on well set wings.
In flight wings make a whistling (hissing) noise due to arrangement of stiff wing feather.
Drink water differently than other birds, keeping beak in water until thirst appeased.
Both father and mother bird share in incubation. Feed babies on what is called "pigeon milk," regurgitated vegetarian food.

THE SIGN OF JONAH THE DOVE
JOHN ANNOUNCED JESUS
“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. . . And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a DOVE and lighting upon him.” Matt. 3:11,16.
Jesus announced to the Sanhedrin the coming of the Holy Spirit IN THE FLESH when he said, “An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas (Dove).” Matt. 12:39.
The Jewish Encyclopedia, under “Dove,” says the Hebrew word for dove is “yonah” or Jonah! It says that there are seven varieties of doves in Israel. Under “Jonah,” it says that the book of Jonah is read annually for the afternoon service of Yom Kippur, and that it is considered by theologians as the “most noble book in the Old Testament,” “the deepest and grandest,” and that it shows “the love of God is broader than the measure of man’s mind, and it is a constant rebuke to our pretensions, our narrow judgment, and our divisions.”
The word, Jonah, itself means Dove, which is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. Whereas, John the Baptist announced the coming of Jesus Who came to John to be baptized, we find Jesus, in turn, announced the coming of the Holy Spirit: for, Jesus was telling them they had killed John and were soon to kill Him but that He would send One (Holy Spirit) Who would judge them unworthy of life themselves and Who was the Everliving One, Whom they could not kill.
“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. . . . But I say unto you, THAT EVERY IDLE WORD THAT MEN SHALL SPEAK, THEY SHALL GIVE ACCOUNT THEREOF IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT. For by THY WORDS thou shalt be JUSTIFIED, and by THY WORDS thou shalt be CONDEMNED.” Matt. 12:31, 32, 36, 37.

JONAH AND THE WHALE
“The book of Jonah (number 5 in the order of minor prophets) affords illustrations of TRUTHwhich from their nature may perhaps even be regarded as TYPES teaching TRUTH.” – The Westminster Dictionary of the Bible.
This story seems to be a TYPE to be related to and looked forward to a general truth that the gentiles yield a readier acquiescence to the doctrines of God than does Israel. Isa. 2:2-4. Nineveh – repented at the preaching of ONE prophet. Israel – did not repent though MANYprophets were sent with calls for repentance.
Leviathan - Job 3:8 rendered - mourning.
Whale – Cachalot – a species different than the common whale rarely more than 60 ft. in size, with a wide throat. Fish up to 8 ft. and 9 ft. have been found in their stomach. A formidable fighter, uses nose and mouth to crush whaling craft.

“And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. And ANOTHER angel (one INTERCESSOR) came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.” Rev. 8:2-5.
“INCENSE REPRESENTS BLOOD OF ATONEMENT . . . The angel(S) who offer the smoke of the fragrant incense are for the praying saints. . . It is the blood of the only-begotten Son of God (INTERCESSOR) that is of value for us that we may draw nigh unto God (‘That blood alone is efficacious’) . . . Morning and evening the heavenly universe behold every household that prays, and the ANGEL with the INCENSE, representing the blood of the atonement, finds access to God (MS 15, 1897).” – S.D.A. Christ is the Second Person of the Godhead (Trinity). This Mighty Angel is also a member of the Godhead, but is not Christ. Conclusion: Two Angels, one with the blood, and one with incense – a dual work of intercession (Rom. 8:26, 34).
“Setting His right foot on the sea, and His left upon the dry land, shows the part which He is acting in the CLOSING SCENES of the great controversy with Satan. THIS POSITION DENOTES HIS SUPREME POWER AND AUTHORITY OVER THE WHOLE EARTH. . . the mighty angel demands attention. He cries with a LOUD VOICE. He is to show the power and authority of His VOICE to those who have united with Satan to oppose the truth.

“After these seven thunders uttered their voices, the injunction comes to John as to Daniel in regard to the little book: ‘Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered.’ THESE RELATE TO FUTURE EVENTS WHICH WILL BE DISCLOSED IN THEIR ORDER. . . John sees the little book UNSEALED. THEN Daniel’s prophecies have their proper place in the FIRST, SECOND, and THIRDangel’s messages to be given to the world. The unsealing of the little book was the message in relation to TIME (PROPHETIC TIME).
“The books of Daniel and the Revelation are ONE. One is a PROPHECY, the other a REVELATION; one a book SEALED, the other a book OPENED. John heard the mysteries which the THUNDERS UTTERED, BUT HE WAS COMMANDED NOT TO WRITE THEM (so they cannot be known by interpretation from the written Word).
“The SPECIAL LIGHT given to John which was expressed in the seven thunders was a DELINEATION OF EVENTS which would transpire under the FIRST AND SECOND ANGELS’ MESSAGES. . . . IN THE ORDER OF GOD most WONDERFUL and ADVANCED truths WOULD be proclaimed. The FIRST and SECONDangels’ messages were to be proclaimed, but NO FURTHER LIGHT WAS TO BE REVEALED BEFORE THESE MESSAGES HAD DONE THEIR SPECIFIC WORK (in the time of the Judgment of the Dead).” S.D.A. Likewise, in the JUDGMENT OF THE LIVING, the final phase of the FIRST and SECOND angels’ messages must come and do their work before the third angel (the third person of the Godhead) comes on the scene to accomplish Her mission.
“Then Daniel’s prophecies have their proper place in the FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD angels’ messages to be given to the world.” – Ibid.
“This TIME, which the angel declares with a solemn oath IS NOT the END of this world’sHISTORY, NEITHER OF PROBATIONARY TIME, but of PROPHETIC TIME, which should precede the advent of our Lord. That is, the people of God will not have another message upon definite time.” – Ibid.
That is, these same three angels’ messages (connected with time), are repeated (in the Judgment of the Living) as shown to Ellen G. White in Early Writings, pages 258-260. “I was shown three steps – the FIRST, SECOND, and THIRD angels’ messages . . . The true under-

standing of these messages is of vital importance. The DESTINY OF SOULS HANGS UPON THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY ARE RECEIVED.’ I was AGAIN brought down through these messages, and saw how dearly the people of God had purchased their experience. It had been obtained through much suffering and severe conflict. God had led them along step by step, until He had placed them upon a solid, immovable platform. . . . They recounted the wonderful work of God, which had led them to the firm platform, and in UNION raised their eyes to heaven and with a LOUD VOICEglorified God. . . . The great Sacrifice had been offered and had been accepted, and the Holy Spirit which descended on the day of Pentecost carried the minds of the disciples from the earthly sanctuary to the heavenly, where Jesus had entered by His own blood, to shed upon His disciples the benefits of His atonement.”
“The angel’s position, with one foot on the sea, and the other on the land, signifies the wide EXTENT OF THE PROCLAMATION of the MESSAGE. . . Those who live under this dispensation (WHEN THE THREE ANGELS’ MESSAGES ARE REPEATED, 1-2-3 STEPS) of test and trial and yet are not led to repent and obey will perish with the disloyal (those who have the mark of the beast).
There is no second trial. The gospel that is to be preached to all nations, kindreds, tongues, and peoples presents the truth in clear lines, showing that obedience is the condition of gaining eternal life. Christ imparts His righteousness to those who consent to let Him take away their sins. We are indebted to Christ for the GRACE which makes us complete in Him (MS 40, 1900).” – S.D.A. Bible Commentary, Vol. 7-A, pp. 415, 416.
“Soon – none know how soon – it will pass to the cases of the living.” – The Great Controversy, p. 490. Sister White saw that soon the investigative judgment of the dead would be over and the investigative judgment of the living would begin. Therefore it is clearly seen that Early Writings, p. 259 shows that the three angels’ messages were to be REPEATED at a future time from 1844, when the people of God are to have victory over the mark of the beast and his image, which is a three-fold mark, a counterfeit of the three-fold seal, mark of the 144,000 (Early Writings, p. 15; Rev. 3:12).
In 1930 we had a revelation of the final phase of the first angel’s message ANNOUNCING the Judgment of the Living to start future from that time.
In, 1955 we had a revelation of the final phase of the second angel’s message about the man (Christ) whose NAME is The Branch, our

INTERCESSOR (The Great Controversy, p. 415); The Lord Our Righteousness (Jer. 23:5, 6); The man in linen who marks (Eze. 9:2-4).
In 1977 we had a revelation of the final phase of the third angel (the Holy Spirit), by a WOMAN, She, The Lord Our Righteousness, whose NAME is The Branch (Jer. 33:15,16), ourINTERCESSOR, the message about the impartation of the Name (given by the MAN whose name is The Branch), by the power of the Holy Spirit WHO is the Author of the Bible, and who alone can bind up (close up) the testimony (of Jesus); close up the book and seal the Law among His disciples. It is the author who writes the conclusion of the book; therefore, the VOICE of the Holy Spirit, the Author of all prophetic utterances since Genesis 3:15 is, in thunder-tones (seven thunders), speaking the closing chapters of PROPHETIC time (the end), declaring that time shall be no longer.
It is evident that the Third Angel’s Message came after the First and Second accomplished their work from 1831 to the summer of 1844. Sister White said, “The truth in regard to the time of the advent of our Lord was a precious message to our souls (MS 59, 1900).” S.D.A. Bible Commentary, Vol. 7-A, p. 415.
“The gospel dispensation is the LAST period of probation that will ever be granted to men. Those who live under the dispensation of test and trial and yet are not led to repent and obey will perish with the disloyal. There is no second trial. GRACE and MERCY will then descend from the throne, and JUSTICE will take their place. He for whom His people have looked will assume His right – the office of Supreme Judge (RH Jan. 1, 1889).” – Ibid., p. 433.
“When probation ends, it will come SUDDENLY, UNEXPECTEDLY – at a time when we are least expecting it. But we can have a clean record in heaven today, and know that God accepts us. . .(MS 95, 1906).” – Ibid.

“There is not a second probation for anyone. NOW is probationary time, BEFORE THE ANGEL SHALL FOLD HER GOLDEN WINGS, THE ANGEL OF MERCY (our INTERCESSOR), AND SHALL STEP DOWN FROM THE THRONE, and mercy, mercy is gone forever (MS 49, 1894).” – Ibid.
“MERCY might interpose, and give them an opportunity to accept HER overtures; but after light has been long rejected and despised, it will be finally withdrawn.” – Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 269.
Sister White, in the paragraphs above, has already said Christ’s intercession was soon to cease. Now she is saying that the intercession of the Holy Spirit is soon to cease.
THE SEAL
“What is the seal of the living God, which is placed in the foreheads of His people? It is a mark which angels, but not human eyes, can read; for the DESTROYING ANGEL must see this mark of redemption (Letter 126, 1898).
“The ANGEL with THE WRITER’S INK HORN is to place a mark upon the foreheads of all who are separated from sin and sinners, AND THE DESTROYING ANGEL FOLLOWS THIS ANGEL (Here are seen TWO ANGELS – TWO INTERCESSORS – ONE marking, ONE ready to destroy the unrepentant) (Letter 12, 1886).
“Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads – it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but a SETTLING INTO THE TRUTH, both intellectually and spiritually, SO THEY CANNOT BE MOVED – just as soon as God’s people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Anne McGrew Bennett of Berkeley asks whether the early Hebrews didn’t include somehow both El and Elath in their minds. ‘Even the biblical text reads, ‘Let us make humans in OUR image and likeness.’ she said. Feminine gender words in Hebrew were used to express some attributes of God, she said. Two of them are ‘SHEKINAH,’ roughly meaning God’s presence on earth, and ‘CHOKMAH,’ meaning wisdom and highly personified in Proverbs and other Jewish ‘wisdom literature (as SHE).” – Los Angeles Times, Sun., Dec. 29, 1974.

The Catholic Church:
The Catholic Church relies upon the intercession of the virgin Mary, a practice in which the work of the Holy Spirit’s intercession is substituted by a literal woman.
The Druids:
“Long before Christianity, Chartres was a Druidic sacred place, the greatest of all those in Gaul. The lofty Chartres Cathedral stands over a vast crypt which, before the first Christian church was built, was the greatest Druidic sanctuary of the Gauls: that of the Divine Mother. . . . Similarly, Mount Duni, on the island of lona between Ireland and Scotland, was first the Druidic sacred place of the White Dove before becoming much later the birthplace of the Celtic church.” – Alien Races and Fantastic Civilizations, by Serge Hutin, pp. 78,79.
The Branch:
Finally, One of the Presidents of the Branch Davidian Seventh-Day Adventist Association in the pamphlet, Two Turtledoves, No. 1, gives Scriptural proof for the feminine gender of the Holy Spirit, using Romans 1:20; Genesis 1:1,2, 26-28; 2:7, 21-24; 5:1,2, to show that Adam and Eve were made in the image of at least two persons of the Godhead. As both were not masculine, therefore, the Trinity is clearly understood (Rom. 1:21), and we are without excuse if we are in ignorance of the feminine gender of the Holy Spirit, since the gender of the Father and the Son are already known. She further proves by Romans 8:26, that the Holy Spirit is also an Intercessor with Christ, Romans 8:34: and that according to Hebrews 6:20, the Holy Spirit (the order of Melchisedec), the everliving Priest, was joined by Christ, the Priest, after the order of Melchisedec, on the day of Pentecost, when He was inaugurated into His Mediatorial Kingdom and the power was poured out upon the 120 disciples (Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 120; The Acts of the Apostles, pp. 38,39).
