What has the party system done for you?
It’s dividing your family, and your friends too!

Don’t you see? It’s tribalism
Chieftains vie by libel – schism

How much do you really know about virology?
Foreign relations? Finance? Climatology?

Most receive what they believe in forming group identity
But beliefs from chiefs – epistemic griefs – obscenity

There is a better way
Partyless governance
where knowledge and ability hold sway

In proportion to your truth should be your power
position by fitness, not ivory tower

All have a chance to have a say
but only through testing will your words weigh

Kingdoms rise and fall
The status quo above all

But while it remains
let us take pains
to learn a better way

The groundwork has been laid
Now needed is your aid

But first you must
wipe your feet from the dust
of your political team
Awake from your paralytical dream

Grab ahold of your tribal flag edge
Tear it and burn it with all its baggage

From its ashes shall arise no thing
except the stench of former loathing

Now freed from left and right wing
Let’s join together, starting small we’ll sing,

Their team is red
Their team is blue
but let us instead
seek what is True
