This is an audio sermon by David Koresh released to the world and
meant to be broadcast nationally during the 51 day siege of Mt.
Carmel. This is the first of the audio sermons
made available to the general public by David Koresh and the Branch
Davidian Community. At the time of it's making, it was a State Of The

the people provided this tape be broadcast nationally across the
country. The FBI agreed. This was first promise to come out, and
David would later be accused of breaking his word. The sermon, was
played but only on local radio stations...and only in the middle of the
afternoon. While it may have been perceived as keeping their word by
the FBI, it fell short of it's promise to broadcast the sermon
nationally. I guess they thought God was limited to his ability to
know their actions and report the same to his servant...instructing him
not to come out. Who broke their word first? This is what we should
have been exposed to, to form an opinion of ourselves in the first week
of March 1993. |
